The House Oversight Committee voted 24-19 to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding the Justice Department's handling of the Epstein files release.
Republican Rep. Nancy Mace introduced the motion to subpoena Bondi, stating that the American people demand answers on the Epstein files.
Mace was joined by her Republican colleagues, Reps. Lauren Boebert, Michael Cloud, Scott Perry and Tim Burchett.
“The American people want answers on the Epstein files, and so do we,” Mace wrote on X.
Congress had passed legislation mandating the release of millions of documents related to the Epstein investigation, but the department reportedly missed the deadline.
