Fish and chips are one of the nation's favourite takeaways, either eaten in the street, your car or at home. But they are just as popular when we dine out despite the price hike.
Whether it's a gastro pub with battered line-caught haddock, crushed peas and hand-cut chips or part of a chain, virtually every pub in Nottinghamshire has fish and chips on the menu. And what's better than washing them down with a pint of your favourite beer, a crisp white wine or even a cup of tea.
If you're thinking of ditching the chippy for the pub this bank holiday weekend, we've checked out the best according to TripAdvisor. Does your favourite place make the cut?
