We tell what time of year it is based off what award show is happening, and on this splendid morning of September 15, it’s the Emmys, baby! We can watch on from the comfort of our office chairs as our favourite celebrities grace the red carpet for a big night of TV awards.
Hosted by Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay, this year’s Emmys is set to be a good one, with shows including The Pitt, Slow Horses, The Bear and Nobody Wants This all up for a shiny gold statue. Actors and actresses including Steve Carrell, Ayo Edebiri, Lisa Kudrow and Sarah Pidgeon are all nominated for individual awards, too. And that’s not even mentioning all the shows and talent that got snubbed, like Jeremy Allen White and Stranger Things season five.
But this isn’t a ‘who won’ article. This is where the fun stuff happens: judging the red carpet looks. So let’s get into it, shall we?
The Emmys 2026 Red Carpet: All the best (and worst) looks coming to you live!
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh has arrived at the Emmys red carpet and she looks like a lavender dream. The sequins paired with the big, dramatic chiffon off-shoulder draping is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the pastel pink and green necklace — it matches perfectly.
Elle Fanning
Elle Fanning looks as cute as a button in this metallic aqua gown. The ruffle cape that eventually breaks to fringing is so unique and really completes the dress. And the shoes?! They’re a perfect match!
Sarah Pidgeon
Pastels really are the theme of this year’s Emmy’s, aren’t they? And we’re not mad about it! Love Story actress and Emmy nominee Sarah Pigeon is an absolute showstopper in this lilac satin bias-cut slip gown featuring. The plunging low back and cowl neckline framed by delicate crystals is divine. This is one of my top picks for the night!
Seoyeon Jang
Seoyeon Jang‘s white and cream lace gown is giving music festival more than Emmys awards, but she looks absolutely beautiful nonetheless.
Chase Infiniti
Chase Infiniti, AKA the people’s princess, has arrived — and looks stunning in this fitted mermaid gown! As a chronic fidgeter, I feel like this dress would be perfect to mindlessly run your hands over and feel all the bumps os the oversized beads. Fun!
Corey Hendrix
I can appreciate that Corey Hendrix didn’t opt for the stereotypical men’s red carpet outfit, but I am slightly terrified by this entirely velvet ensemble. As someone who doesn’t fare well with textures (or super skinny pants), I can’t imagine this being very comfortable. But hey, maybe Hendrix has a special affinity for velvet?
Bill Poseley
It’s giving Trolls in the best way. I genuinely love this look so much… minus the shoes.
Kristen Bell
Kristen Bell‘s red carpet looks are always hit or miss, and I fear this one is leaning towards the miss side of things. I don’t think the half cape is cohesive with the dress, and the rosette on the collar looks a little wilted and sad.
Odessa A’Zion
Odessa A’Zion is serving 70s, business, goth chic in this Jean Paul Gaultier suit. I wasn’t a fan at first, but it’s growing on me!
Zendaya
The princess has arrived in custom Prada and the carpet is officially glam city. Zendaya is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Rue in Euphoria. The plunging bejewelled dress, paired with diamonds and pearls from Mikimoto and satin Christian Louboutin heels is everything and more.
Shabana Azeez
Our Aussie darling has arrived for her second Emmy awards in a stunning Sophie Couture dress. I was afraid the colour was going to wash her out, but I think it works!
Lisa Ann Walter
Did someone say diva!!! Lisa Ann Walter has blessed the carpet with a Christian Siriano gown and I officially want those sleeves to add to my grocery shopping attire.
Nicole Kidman
Lots of divas in white today and Nicole Kidman is no exception. I do think it’s funny when stars who are predominantly in movies rock up to the Emmys in a slightly more casual fit (this is more cocktail than red carpet IMO), but then again, I’m writing this while I’m still in workout gear from this morning, so what do I know!
Allison Janney
The stunning actress Allison Janney arrived at the Emmys red carpet in a sleek black gown with a baby pink feathered trim along the neckline. Feathers are really proving to be a common theme amongst carpet goers this year, hey? I say give us more!
Megan Stalter
Megan Stalter has actually won the night because she’s an actual Emmy, so everyone might as well pack it up and head home.
Lisa Rinna
Bravolebs really show up and show out at an award show and you can’t tell me any different. Lisa Rinna is giving all drama in Lever Couture, and dare I say she might be one of my fave looks of the night.
Ciara Miller
The reigning queen of Summer House is popping up just about everywhere now and thank God for it! Summer House received its first-ever Emmy nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t love that the top and bottom aren’t in matching white, but my queen can do no wrong in my eyes.
Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez is really gunning for the Disney+ series she stars in, Only Murders in the Building, to win the outstanding comedy series Emmy, cosplaying as the golden statue herself. All jokes aside, she looks gorgeous. I love the waist detailing on the sides, and how her stylist has kept her hair and makeup simple to let the dress shine. It’s like a gorgeous gold mosaic.
Lisa Kudrow
Lisa Kudrow looks so wholesome in her tailored cropped bolero and satin black maxi dress. It’s a bit plain, but she can get away with anything, so I’ll let it slide.
Eunice Bae
No Big Birds were harmed in the making of this Bill Blass dress… I think. I love the silly goofiness of this canary yellow dress, I think it’s so fun!
Trisha Paytas
Trisha Paytas ATE down in her sparkly contrasting gold and blue gown. Seriously, this is the best she’s ever looked. The matching sapphire and diamond necklace really completes the look.
Michael Urie
I don’t love it when men wear black suits to red carpets — it feels like a cop out. But I do love when they add an element of interest to them, like the big, dramatic barrel leg Michael Urie is rocking. Paired with the cropped suit jacket and the super high waistband of the pants, and this is actually super fun!
Colman Domingo
Colman Domingo, who is up for the outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series Emmy for his performance in Four Seasons, can do no wrong in my eyes! I love how unique the rust colour of his jacket is (and the frog fasteners), and how it contrasts with the silk magenta tie belt. He oozes cool vibes.
Law Roach
Law Roach looks like the embodiment of sunshine with a killer face card and shiny hair stepped on the carpet. This golden floral kimono is divine! I love when men don’t wear suits to carpets!!!
Lukita Maxwell
Everything about this dress is fun, from the ruched bubble skirt to the ruffle pleats emerging from the centre of it. Plus, Lukita Maxwell‘s hair?! Styled to perfection. And the pearly white shoes popping out from the bottom is such a nice touch.
Isa Briones
Isa Brione‘s dress is screaming gothic revival and I’m utterly obsessed with it. Styled by Jessica Paster, it’s a vintage Prada maxi from the fall/winter 1998 collection. The metallic olive green mixed with the black trim and beaded harness detailing is very gothic revival. Obsessed is an understatement.
Jason Segel
A man in a black suit… groundbreaking! At least Jason Segel has a nice flower on his lapel to add some interest. But otherwise, meh.
Katherine LaNasa
Katherine LaNasa is a vision in baby blue! Despite her dress being quite simple, I think the chiffon train and cowl neckline is beautiful. Plus, the earrings are the star of the show.
