Hundreds of thousands of people will come together to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla at Westminster Abbey, in London, on Saturday May 6.
Thousands of royalists will gather in London to watch the largest military ceremonial operation in 70 years. It is the first Coronation most generations will have seen, with Queen Elizabeth II's taking place on June 2, 1953.
Those who decide to celebrate elsewhere will enjoy street huge parties and watch live screenings of the royal event. As reported in The Mirror, Charles will be anointed with holy oil and receive the orb, ring and sceptre, before being crowned and blessed during the historic ceremony.
