Diego Maradona getting completely blown away by a truly exceptional Rugby World Cup try from Argentina has surfaced on social media.
Maradona, one of the greatest footballers who ever lived, sadly passed away in November 2020 due to a cardiac arrest.
However, the 1986 World Cup winner's legacy lives on, even in rugby.
The video in question is taken from Los Pumas' 45-16 victory over Tonga in the 2015 Rugby World Cup pool stage.
Winger Juan Imhoff finished off a truly sensational team try which was kicked off by Santiago Cordero on the opposite wing, through an incredible injection of pace.
Maradona's iconic reaction to the try is doing the rounds again on Instagram, through a post from Rugby World Cup. He can be seen going hell for leather cheering his team on, spinning the country's flag around on his hand.
You can watch the video below.
It has been viewed over a quarter of a million times in less than 24 hours, and fans are loving it.
"Diego always defending his country's colors (sic)," said one.
"Rugby deserves so much more viewership," said another.
Maradona actually joined the team in the changing rooms at the King Power Stadium after that match. He could be seen singing and dancing with the players in jubilation.
It made for quite the moment, and wasn't something the team would forget any time soon.
