The End Of An Era: AOL Discontinues Dial-Up Internet After 30 Years

AOL said last week stating that it would be discontinuing dial-up internet as of Sept. 30. The move marks the end of an era when it comes to the internet, as AOL is one of the last major companies to offer the service.

The notice stated that AOL had made the decision to eliminate its dial-up option after a routine evaluation of its products and services.
