The Crown star dies just weeks after being honoured by the King

British actress Jane Lapotaire has died at the age of 81 after a prolific career on stage and screen.
She was a highly acclaimed performer, winning both Tony and Olivier Awards for her starring role in the Royal Shakespeare Company's 1981 production of Piaf.
Lapotaire's notable television credits included portraying Princess Kuragin in Downton Abbey and Princess Alice of Battenberg in The Crown.
Tributes poured in after her death, including from the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Tony Awards, and colleagues such as singer-songwriter Mike Batt and actor Carol Drinkwater.
She made her final public appearance last month to collect a CBE for her services to drama at Windsor Castle.
