The Crown slammed by Princess Diana's friends for filming her final hours before tragic death

Close friends of the late Princess Diana have slammed The Crown as the Netflix show plans to depict the moments leading up to her death.

Witnesses claim that the Royal Family drama filmed scenes where Elizabeth Debicki, who plays the late Diana, could be seen in a black Mercedes just 100 yards from the Alma tunnel, Paris - where Diana tragically died in 1997. The new trailer for The Crown shows the upcoming season plans to focus on the marriage breakdown between the late princess and now King Charles, including the infamous Panorama interview with Diana.

The show has been embroiled in controversy as stars like Judi Dench and former Prime Minister John Major slammed the upcoming season, which now comes with an accuracy warning. Now Netflix are facing further backlash as they are reportedly filming the late mother of two's final moments, reports the Mirror.
