The Crown's Claire Foy has opened up about her co-star Matt Smith's role in Game of Thrones spin off, House of the Dragon. The HBO series, which was lauded over by critics and viewers, sees former Doctor Who Smith play Daemon Targaryen. One person who wasn't the greatest fan of Smith's character in the series was Claire Foy, 38, who previously played Queen Elizabeth II to his Prince Philip. Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she explained that there were elements that she found "disgusting" about Daemon Targaryen.
She said: "I've watched all of [the show]," she told host Josh Horowitz. "It took a huge amount of commitment, which waned towards the end, but I was there for it. I was a very committed friend but I disagreed with [Matt's character] in many scenes. I then had to tell him that I found them disgusting to watch."
