Plans are already in action to ensure that this summer is one filled with music and sunshine.
After losing many opportunities for concerts in the last two years, music promoters and venues are keen to welcome crowds of music lovers back.
An exciting new gig has been announced as The Coronas take to the stage this May as part of Live At The Square in Derry.
The Dublin-based band will return to Derry, taking to an entirely different setting than they did back in 2011 when they played in the city's Nerve Centre.
The Coronas will be touring across the country and beyond from next month and will be warmly welcomed to the Walled City.
They will be supported by Odhran Murphy and RUE.
A representative from Live At The Square spoke to MyDerry about bringing this brilliant outdoor gig to the city.
They said: "We are thrilled to bring The Coronas, Odhran Murphy and Rue to Derry on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
"It is truly going to be a great night for the city and we hope for more announcements over the coming weeks."
Local radio station River Radio will be broadcasting live from this event and others across the year.
More details on future announcements and tickets can be found here.
