The company offering job for dogs where they could earn up to £10,000

If your pooch is happy enough to pose for pictures, they could be ideal for an incredible new role.

The pet merchandise shop Yappy is searching for the perfect dog to be its Chief 'Fluff' Officer, who will be the face of the company and become the ultimate dog influencer.

All you need to do is capture your pet posing and playing with Yappy's range of personalised gifts, toys and accessories while having fun creating adorable content.

It's ideal if your pet loves to be in front of the camera, is always up to strike a pose and genuinely enjoys being photographed - and they could even earn up to £10,000 for doing so.

From testing out some of Yappy's products to filming social media content, the ideal doggy candidate will embrace each fun-packed assignment and enjoy telling their followers and all 150,000 of Yappy's about the brand.

Here's everything you need to know about the opportunity.

The perfect candidate

Whether your dog is already a social media star or not, Yappy has an exciting opportunity if you love being creative with your pet and want to turn it into a career.

Some key responsibilities and attributes for the role are:

  • Looking ‘furbulous’ and being camera-ready, groomed, and ready to go at the flash of the camera

  • Being a content creator’s dream to work with – the hired Chief ‘Fluff’ dog should be comfortable showing off their best poses, sassy struts, tail wags, tricks and expressions

  • Confidence hopping on the latest TikTok trends, shooting a reel and taking photos

  • Creating amazing content for Yappy featuring your latest haul of personalised products, designed just for you, with your own unique icon created by our team

  • Must be experience on social media, with an established online presence and at least two active social accounts (to include Instagram and TikTok)

  • A "fluffy and fabulous" appearance is advantageous but not essential

How to apply

If you think your dog is perfect for the role, it's simple to apply.

Go to Yappy.com/apply to create a profile for your dog, where you'll see how easy it is to create personalised products in a matter of seconds.

Then, post a photo, reel or video of your pup on Instagram or TikTok and tag @yappy_com, saying why they deserve to be hired and add #ChiefFluffOfficer to your post.

Once you've done that, you can apply by emailing chieffluffofficer@yappy.com. Be sure to include the following details:

  • Your Dog’s Name
  • Your Dog’s Breed
  • Your Full Name
  • Your Email Address
  • Your Location
  • Your Dog’s Social Accounts (Instagram/TikTok)
  • The link to your Yappy social post

The closing date to apply is November 18, and Yappy will be in touch with the successful shortlisted candidates soon after.

You need to be over 18 to apply and the role is remote, however the successful applicant may be required to visit the Yappy.com offices in Manchester UK for select assignments on request.

They will be remunerated with a combination of Yappy products and/or agreed paid assignments up to the value of £1000 per month over 10 months. Full terms and conditions can be found on the website.
