
Fantasia Barrino has truly had an extraordinary journey. She went from being a single 19-year-old mom on food stamps to being one of the most famous American Idol contestants. Some of the big moments from Barrino’s career include being the third Idol winner in the history of the show, getting to star as Celie in the Broadway adaptation of The Color Purple and reprising the role in the film remake.
