An expert has shared some cheap tricks to banish dog hair and smells from your sofa - with one hack costing as little as 4p.

The colder and wetter weather now upon us, which means that many pet owners will be returning from dog walks with a soggy pup.

While pooches may want to snuggle into the sofa so that they can warm up while drying, it can leave an unpleasant 'wet dog smell'.
