The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has announced the return of its annual Scottish conference, on 30 March at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The event will feature a mix of keynote speeches, panel discussions, company case studies, research-focused presentations and interactive sessions.
Among the confirmed speakers are CIPD chief executive Peter Cheese, cyclist and investor Mark Beaumont, podcast host and former media business leader Cally Beaton, as well as human resources directors for companies like SSE, NHS Scotland and the University of Edinburgh.
Lee Ann Panglea, head of the CIPD in Scotland and Northern Ireland, commented: "While regular home working has become the norm for so many of us, we know how much people value the opportunity to connect in-person with their peers, and we're very excited that this year's CIPD Scotland Annual Conference looks set to be our biggest ever in-person event.
"The world of work is constantly evolving," she continued. "Our conference will provide expert insights on a range of topics that people professionals in Scotland are currently grappling with, from employment relations and supporting financial wellbeing, to managing a multi-generational workforce, future skills required to deliver net zero, building and retaining inclusive workforces and prioritising self-care to avoid burnout."
The event is open to both CIPD members and non-members, with tickets available here.
