West End fans will be glad to know that Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat has finally hit the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.
The show stars Oliver Award legends Linzi Hateley (Narrator) and Jac Yarrow (Joseph), but the audience were truly amazed by the younger stars of the show. A group of children were told the story of Joseph throughout the musical and played some small parts as well as providing vocals for the chorus.
These adorable kids are bound to put a smile on your face and they brought so much quirky individuality to the show, bringing the audience to laughter on several occasions.

Joseph has been played by iconic stars throughout the years including Phillip Schofield and Jason Donovan. Last night, Jac Yarrow filled the shoes of the legendary role effortlessly. The chiselled biblical superhero in his coat of many colours belted out song after song flawlessly.
It was evident that the cast had so much fun during the show, and the audience were up and boogying by the last number. The high energy in both the adults and the kids made it a delight to watch.
The stage setting was colourful and kept the viewers entertained especially during Pharaoh’s solo number. He was certainly a comic highlight bringing a modern cross between Johnny Cash and Elvis to the stage.
A sea of smiling faces were all on their feet by the end of the show, even before bows began. This production is one the whole family will enjoy and is definitely a great pick for anyone looking to entertain the kids during the last days of the summer break.
