The Chiefs’ last three tweets from their loss to the Bengals tell a very sad story

The Kansas City Chiefs had their season come to a stunning end Sunday as they lost at home to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime, 27-24, after holding an 18-point lead in the first half.

While the Bengals had fun trolling Patrick Mahomes on Twitter after the game, the Chiefs remained silent on social media as they likely were trying to come to terms with the fact that they won’t be making a third straight trip to the Super Bowl.

The final minute of regulation was crazy once again Sunday as the Chiefs kicked a field goal as time expired to force overtime, just like they did last week against Buffalo. But then things went completely different for them against the Bengals and the team’s final three tweets from the game tell the whole sad story.

Let’s take a look.
