The Chase viewers were quick to spot that the order of the contestants' seating spelt out the name of crime-fighting detectives - Dick Tracy and Nancy Drew. The four contestants on Thursday, June 2 - Richard, Tracey, Nancy and Drew - were sat in that exact order, leading to amusement from viewers and Chaser, Paul Sinha.
As he came out to face the contestants, Paul was quick to make the comparison. He said: "What Bradley hasn't noticed is, it's one of those teams again." The host, meanwhile, looked none-the-wiser as to what the Chaser meant. "Nancy Drew and Richard, better known as Dick, Tracy. We've got a crime-fighting team on our hands today," he elaborated.
It seems that name-jokes were a regular occurrence in the episode. First up to face The Chaser was Drew, who himself was picked on by Walsh for being a graphic designer with an ironic name.
