A question related to the founding of Celtic Football Club was posed to The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett - and fans were left annoyed at the answer.
The Beast, who is a well-liked Chaser on the ITV gameshow, got the name of Celtic's founding father, Brother Walfrid, wrong on Tuesday night.
The Daily Record reports that the original question was actually about the year the club was founded, which Mark got correct. Presenter Bradley Walsh read the question out: "What year appears on the badge of Celtic Football Club?".

Contestant Lucy had the choice of 1666, 1777 and the correct answer, 1888. As Lucy selected 1777, many football fans would have been screaming at their television screens to change her answer.
As Mark selected 1888, he eliminated Lucy and stole her £7,000 back in the Chase. Lucy said after the sad news: "I really didn't want a football question to come up."
Presenter Bradley then said: "It's more about history, really!"
However, Mark's response to getting the answer right was where he got Celtic fans heated, as he explained: "Originally founded by Brother Wilfred, I believe - to help the poor of the parish in Glasgow."

Whilst the Chaser wasn't miles wide of the mark, Celtic fans were less than impressed with his pronunciation of Brother Walfrid. The figure of Celtic's history remains one of the most prominent figures in their club, with a statue standing tall outside the stadium.
Brother Walfrid was the one to formally constitute Celtic Football Club in 1887 to alleviate poverty in the East End of Glasgow, forming the club to fund raise for those in need.
Fans were quick enough to point out Mark's mistake, although the subtitles on ITV changed the wrong spelling to the correct way.
