Chaser Paul Sinha shared a health update with his fans as he looked towards Mark Labbett for inspiration.

The Sinnerman admitted that he needed to change his diet due to being diagnosed with diabetes. He added that he had his ITV co-star to look to at how well determination can see results.

Taking to Twitter, he shared the update with his 232,000 followers. He wrote: "As it's #WorldDiabetesDay I ought to emerge from yet another closet."

He added: "Nothing dramatic and diet controlled for now. And I have @MarkLabbett to look at for how quiet determination can get results."

Mark has previously spoken openly about his weight loss journey. According to The Daily Record, back in 2003 when he was a full-time teacher, Mark was at his heaviest weight of 29 stone.

Just like Paul, after being diagnosed with Type 2 diabete s in 2016, he was forced to undergo some drastic lifestyle changes to stop his health from deteriorating further. So, thanks to a healthier diet and improved exercise regime, he's since dropped a whopping 10 stone in total.

He explained that he dropped a few clothes sizes by eating a protein-rich diet and ditching carbohydrates, sugar and by cutting back on alcohol. Mark said: "I’m on a high protein diet, so eating an awful lot of meat and lean meat.

"As much as I love chips and other carbs, I’m having quite a bit less than I used to. And it’s sort of became a virtuous cycle, I’m not feeling that hungry, so you eat less, so you lose weight, so you’re not as hungry.”
