The Chase's Bradley Walsh left 'gutted' after Paul Sinha steals his joke

The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left less than amused during Thursday's episode after a joke was made before he got the chance to say it.

ITV's hugely popular game show returned with four new contestants as they took on Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha.

He had a pretty laid-back approach to the game and was making plenty of jokes during the episode.

Abbie, a trainee solicitor from Kent, who was second to take on the cash builder round, told Bradley she was studying criminal law "under the government."

Liverpool Echo writes Bradley was shot down by the 24-year-old when he asked her if she would ever move to London for the role - it was then The Chaser said: "I look forward to you being nicknamed Westminster 'Abbie'."

The studio fell quiet and Bradly fumed that he didn't make the joke first. He said: "I'm gutted I didn't think of that. That's my sort of joke."

Yesterday, a Scots contestant was over the moon when she scooped the jackpot on the ITV show after a tense final chase.

The four contestants made it back to the table for the final chase, upping their chances of taking home the jackpot.

The team took on Shaun Wallace, also known as The Dark Destroyer, and when they got 20 questions correct, everyone knew that it was going to be a close call.

The Chase in on STV and Stv player at 5pm Monday to Friday.
