Bradley Walsh was forced to apologise on The Chase today as he broke the set.
The presenter hosted a new episode of the ITV quizzing show today, where four more contestants - Max, Helen, Jonny and Emma - took on the Chaser in the hope of winning a huge cash prize.
In the quizzing challenge, they took on Mark 'The Beast' Labbett for a chance to take home a life-changing sum of money, but after Max gave one particular answer, Bradley got overexcited and ended up damaging a piece of the set.
The gaffe had all the contestants in hysterics as he quickly apologised.
Asking the question to Max, Bradley said: "Which of these counties borders the other two?" before he gave the options as Gloucestershire, Hampshire and Wiltshire, with Max choosing Wiltshire.
Thrilled, and convinced Max had got the right answer, Bradley was incredibly excited and smashed his hand down onto the table.
Realising his error instantly, he announced: "I've cracked it, I'm so sorry. Have we got a spare?"
"If you win the £35k, can you lend me a couple of quid?" Bradley joked to Max as he admitted his error.
The Beast was left in hysterics as Max told Bradley to go "steady", but the whole thing didn't end too well for Max as he was eliminated by Mark from the show, with the three remaining contestants - Helen, Jonny and Emma - competing in the final chase.
However, they were caught by Mark with nearly half a minute to go.
Bradley previously confessed he may be retiring soon and as a result would have to exit the show.
"You know what, in a couple of years time I won’t have to do any of it, I’ll be retired and that’ll be it," he said.
"I don’t actually have time off. I have meetings, I have personal appearances I have to make and stuff like that with other things I’ve got going on, so it’s quite tricky to juggle it about."
He added: "The Chase allows me to do the other stuff which I really want to do – not that I don’t love doing The Chase."
