Fans of The Chase made the same complaint while watching tonight's show.
Steve, Lisa, Kristian and Bethany worked as a team on the ITV quiz show to take on the Chaser. In a bid to win a cash prize each player went head to head with Jenny Ryan, also known as The Vixen.
When introducing each contestant to the game, host Bradley Walsh asked them a set of questions not included in the quiz. Intrigued to know more about their lives, jobs and what they wanted to spend any winnings on, Brad asked personal questions.

Tonight's players seemed to give lengthy answers with 47-year-old Lisa talking about all of the wildlife that could be found by her home, including hedgehogs homed at Tiggywinkles. But as she was talking fans made the same complaint.
It seems they just wanted to watch the gameplay unfold as they took to Twitter to moan. Bill said: "This is becoming like Pointless, we are now getting excess chat the contestant's life story. #TheChase."
Another user said: "Time wasting tonight feels like a chat show #thechase." A third added: "Enough chat get on with the game #TheChase."
