Fans of The Chase were taken aback when they spotted a special connection between the players on today's show.
Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players on Friday's edition of the popular ITV gameshow. David, Courtney, Jennifer and Matt were testing their wits against Darragh Ennis in a bid to win a cash prize.
But as each of the players prepared to go head to head with the Chaser, fans on Twitter pointed out a witty resemblance with their names. They joked that the cast of American sitcom Friends had 'reunited' for the ITV quiz show.

David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox. Jennifer Aniston and Matt Le Blanc all featured on the iconic show which ran for 10 seasons from 1994 - 2004. Each of The Chase's players shared a first name with the actors.
Eagle eyed viewers flocked to Twitter to point it out. Rich said: "Looks like we have some 'friends' on #TheChase."
Another user said: "The one where the contestants came as Friends #TheChase." A third added: "Friends actors theme tonight #thechase."
Sarah said: "David, Courtney, Jennifer, Matt. All's you need now is Matt and Lisa and you got a #friends reunion! #TheChase."
Meeting the team for the first time, Darragh noticed the same as the Twitter fans as he said: "It looks like the cast of Friends have joined us." But host Bradley seemed blissfully unaware of the link as he said: "Ah! So we are ...You know, I never notice these things."
