The Chase fans praise 'most beautiful contestant' for jaw-dropping answer

The Chase viewers heaped praise on a player for being "one of the most beautiful contestants" ever on the show.

Carly, a graphic designer, was welcomed onto the show by Bradley Walsh, 62, alongside her teammates Simon, Steph and George who were pitted against today's chaser Paul Sinha.

But viewers seemed distracted from the quizzing aspect of The Chase, as they quickly flocked to social media to post: "My goodness hello Carly."

Another wrote: "Carly you pretty thing" and a third echoed: Carly must be up there with one of the most beautiful contestants #TheChase."

One person tweeted: "Carly could be a model, very pretty young lady."

Others said: "no way she's a 10" , "easy on the eye and good player" and "Carly is a stunner #TheChase."

Fans quickly snapped out of the distraction brought to them by Carly's stunning appearance after a jaw-dropping answer she gave during the cash builder round.

The presenter asked the 27-year-old: "Freedom was the first solo hit from which Take That singer?" to which Carly confidently replied: "George Michael."

Immediately, fans flocked to social media to share their surprise as one exclaimed: "Can’t believe George Michael was in Take That #TheChase." Another asked: "George Michael was in Take That?" "I saw take that loads of times live.

"I feel like I was robbed now never seeing George Michael with them," penned a third.

Unfortunately for the graphic designer, she didn't make it through to the final chase like Simon and Steph who scored £9,000 between them , reports the Daily Star.

Simon, 42, put on an exceptional performance, single-handedly answering 20 questions correctly.

The execution of two pushbacks meant The Sinnerman was unable to catch their score as he ran out of time just before answering the 20th question.
