Fans were left "howling" at a "savage" response on this evening's episode of The Chase as one woman was left to fight the final battle alone.
After two contestants had already been caught, Leanne was hoping Terence, the fourth contestant to go up against the Dark Destroyer, would come back to add to their pot and boost their chances at the final chase. But despite a "good effort", Terence was finally caught when he was just two correct answers away from home.
When asked whether the one remaining contestant Leanne, who is headed into the final chase, whether she could win it, Terence savagely replied "nah." The comment had host Bradley Walsh and chaser Shaun Wallace in fits of laughter.

But quickly backtracking on his answer, he turned to Leanna and said "of course she can" as she looked shocked at his answer.
People were quick to take to social media to respond to the "savage" response. One fan said: "Haha brilliant answer - Naaah. Quality!" A second added: "Bless him! Haha! She can't win it! Good on you, Terence! Hope he's watching."
Another wrote: "Well he’s not wrong" coupled with laughing face emojis as a fourth said: "LMAO "nah!" And a fifth said they were "howling".
Terence, who was the only contestant to go for a high offer of £48,000, was praised for his "top quality banter" as another fan said: "Terence is great."
One person said: "Terrence is so cheeky lol" as another said: "Feel sorry for contestants on their own for the final. Only ever seen one person win on their own."
