The Chase viewers alongside Bradley Walsh were left gobsmacked after once contestant revealed their unusual hobby.
Patrick, Charlie, Gemma and Connor worked together as a team to take on Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan as they hoped to take home the cash. Each player went head to head with Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan as they tested their wits on the ITV quiz show, as everyone except Gemma return for the final chase.
Stoke-on-Trent native Connor was the last contestant up on the podium as host Bradley chatted away to him ahead of the final cash-builder round. As usual, the former Coronation Street actor thanked him for coming on the show and asked him what he gets up to in his spare time before the conversation took a turn.
Connor revealed some of his favourite things to do in his down time is to play Dungeons and Dragons with his friends and dress up as his alter ego Chloe the Rabbit. The quizzer doesn't downplay his second self as he often walks through the streets of Manchester in his elaborate costume and regularly attends conventions in costume.
He began with: "On the weekends I like to dress up as a giant rabbit and walk around the city. So I'm called Chloe when I'm a rabbit. It's around Manchester, not on my own it's with a bunch of friends. We all have our own costumes we all have different animals, some dragons, sharks, wolves, foxes."
Bradley asked him why he enjoys dressing up and hopping around the town as a bunny, Connor simply responded: "Because it's fun, it's nice to be someone else for a while."
Despite losing Gemma halfway through the show, the trio managed an impressive result and took £21,000 through to the final round against The Vixen. The trio were absolutely delighted to beat Jenny in the final chase with just one question left to go.
Bradley congratulated his team and asked them what their winnings would be going towards, as each member takes home a sweet £7,000. While Charlie was hoping for a honeymoon and Patrick fancied a holiday with his wife, Connor had other ideas.
The pro-gamer revealed he would be spending his share of the money on a new costume - but this time it would be a lizard. Bradley chuckled: "What a way to spend your dosh, dressed as a lizard walking round Manchester. Well, they'll know it's you won't they!"
Viewers couldn't believe Connor's hobby, and took to Twitter to share their jokes and buzz over the excellent win on Thursday night. One wrote: "Watching on +1. Conor seemed fast and furry-ous. Might not need lucky rabbit feet. #TheChase."
"Next time we'll see Connor, it'll be on one of those Channel 4 documentaries they show around 11pm on weeknights. #thechase," another joked. A third said: "Congrats, team. I’m sure you’re all “hopping” with excitement about what to spend the money on. I’ll see you lot tomorrow, yes? #TheChase."
"Hope Connor buys himself a new rabbit outfit and hops around the city #thechase," another tweeted.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on STV.
