ITVs The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left stunned when Dr Zoe Williams revealed her surprising TV past on this year's Christmas Celebrity special. The TV doctor, who frequently appears on This Morning, was joined by singer Charlotte Church, Coronation Street's Sair Khan and Mrs Brown's Boys actor Danny O'Carroll for the festive instalment of the quiz show.
Upon making her way to the podium, Walsh told of how he was shocked to discover that she used to be in Gladiators. She competed under the name Amazon before the show was dropped in 2009.
She featured in the second season of the show and was described as: "Regal and Amazonian, nature's powerful force runs through her veins."

She told GP Online: “As a child growing up in the 1990s, I watched the original Gladiators, so getting the opportunity to become one was incredible. It turns out that hitting people with giant cotton buds really is as much fun as it looks.
“Spending those months surrounded by the team of Gladiators, getting to know them and their stories, taught me how much of a profound impact physical activity can have on an individual’s life. Not just the physical aspect, but also through the emotional and psychological benefits.
“Gladiators also gave me opportunities to share my enthusiasm for being active, giving motivational talks to children, and attending school assemblies and awards events.”
Later in the show Charlotte Church managed to bank £92,000 for the team. Dr Zoe, Church and O'Carroll went on to win the huge £99,000 cash prize after defeating "The Governess" Anne Hegerty.
