The Chase viewers were left surprised after a contestant went head to head with Chaser Ann Hegerty on Monday's show.
Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four more hopefuls, including Emily (24) a police officer from Carlisle.
Emily was joined by Chris (47) a secondary school teacher from Swansea, Callum (36) a zoo keeper from Fife and Sue (62) a finance officer from South Gloucestershire.

The team went head-to-head with Anne Hegerty as they tried to build a big prize pot. But there was one contestant that left fans at home very distracted.
Fans quickly rushed to Twitter to gush over her good looks and one even said that they would "go to Carlisle and get arrested" if she was the one doing it, the Daily Star reports.
One person compared her a Hollywood superstar, writing: "Is she the ginger Blake Lively?"
However, when Emily was asked for her opinion on her fellow contestant's cash offers, fans began to notice something.
Once contestant make it through the cash builder round, they are then given the option of picking the low, middle or high offer to try and make it back to their co-stars and reach the final round.
Bradley often asks the other contestants which they think should be picked and much to fan's dismay Emily seemed happy with the lower offer every time.
One irritated viewer tweeted: "Emily is getting on my f****** nerves, low [offer] enabling. Don't give a s*** how pretty she is!"
When she stepped up to the podium to take her turn, host Bradley quizzed the police officer on her life and hobbies.
Emily told Bradley that she's a "police officer for Cumbria police" which left him amazed before he asked whether she was "on the beat or in a car".
The contestant said it is a "mixed bag most of the time" and has dabbled in different departments.
She then said she enjoys "watching telly" and going for walks in the Lake District "with her boyfriend," which caused outrage on Twitter once more.
Disappointed viewers commented on the fact that she has a boyfriend, with one upset fan even tweeting out a gif of a crying man to express their thoughts. Another simply left angry emojis over the revelation.
