Major changes to First Bus services in Bristol and the West of England region come into force from today (April 24). The bus operator says the changes reflect 'ongoing driver shortages' and 'low passenger numbers'.
Earlier this year First confirmed the T2 from Thornbury to Bristol and the Y2 from Chipping Sodbury to Bristol will be dropped altogether, while the 92 bus will no longer call at Whitchurch.
Other services will also be temporarily reduced as passenger numbers are "still significantly below pre-pandemic levels" and driver numbers are insufficient, this includes a number of services in Weston-super-Mare. First has confirmed it will no longer operate services 2, 4, 5 and 6.
