These are strange times at Celtic. There’s no screaming from the rooftops about new signings required, no star players constantly linked with moves away, and the Hoops are even set to start the season with some centre halves.
Ange Postecoglou doesn’t hang about and he’s already added four new faces and secured three more familiar ones on permanent deals. But punters are like weans on Christmas morning. They unwrap one prezzie and they are immediately looking for what’s next.
So what is next for Celtic? Has Postecoglou finished his business for the summer with six weeks to spare? Unlikely. There will be more coming in but it might be others heading in the other direction first. Taxis have surely been booked for Albian Ajeti and Christopher Jullien to make some room for a few more additions. But it’s a tricky one for Postecoglou right now. It’s not like he’s looking for first team replacements.
