Welsh actor Aneurin Barnard will inhabit the mysterious role of Ryan in new Channel 5 drama The Catch. Jason Watkins and Poppy Gilbert co-star in the series.
In The Catch, Watkins plays a fisherman whose life is turned on its head when "a dark secret" from his past "returns to haunt him". That also coincides with the arrival of his daughter's boyfriend (played by Barnard), whom he suspects is up to no good.
