Here is your 8pm transfer round-up of Bluebirds news on transfer deadline day.
Cardiff confident on Ikpeazu loan
Cardiff City are closing in on the loan signing of Middlesbrough striker Uche Ikpeazu, WalesOnline understands.
The Bluebirds are keen to replace Kieffer Moore, who has just been announced as a Bournemouth player.
Cardiff were in for Ikpeazu at the beginning of the transfer window, but Boro batted away the Bluebirds' advances, insisting they wanted the player to leave on a permanent basis.
However, in something of a shock U-turn, Boro have relented on their stance and have allowed the 26-year-old to leave on a temporary basis for the remainder of the season.
Ikpeazu is a player Steve Morison has liked for some time and is a forward who can bring the physicality void which has been left by Moore's departure.
Ikpeazu impressed against Cardiff in both games for Wycombe Wanderers last term, but has found things a little tougher after moving to Boro.
The forward has scored three goals in 23 outings in all competitions this term. Cardiff are confident they can get the deal over the line before the 11pm deadline.
Bluebirds quartet to leave
Cardiff City are allowing four of their first-team fringe players to leave on loan for the rest of the season, WalesOnline has learned.
Tom Sang is set for a spell up in Scotland with St Johnstone, a move perhaps in the pipeline following the arrival of Tommy Doyle from Manchester City.
Steve Morison has said he does not see Sang as a right-back and wants to see him operate in midfield, an area of Cardiff's squad which is densely populated at the minute.
Ciaron Brown, the defender who is in the final months of his contract with the club, will also head out, with League One club Oxford United set to be his destination.
Brown was brought into the first-team fray under Mick McCarthy but has seen little football this season since the signing of the impressive Mark McGuinness in the summer. It looks unlikely Brown will play for the Bluebirds again.
Elsewhere, promising winger Kieron Evans, 20, has join Belfast-based club Linfield.
The Wales youth international has played six first-team games, starting both of Morison's first two matches in charge against Stoke City and QPR, but the club feel he needs a move away to gain some first-team experience. It is hoped he will get that in the Northern Irish top flight.
Lastly, Keenan Patten is set to head out on loan to Hereford FC in the National League North. Patten, 20, is yet to make his senior debut for the Bluebirds but has featured in 10 matchday squads.
All deals are subject to final pieces of paperwork being completed.

Oxford rebuffed in Harris attempt
Cardiff City rebuffed Oxford United's attempt to sign Mark Harris on loan, WalesOnline understands.
With Uche Ikpeazu seemingly on his way in and Jordan Hugill having signed on the weekend,. Oxford chanced their arm in the hope that Cardiff would be open to allowing one of their strikers to leave on deadline day.
But we are told Steve Morison was not open to entertaining an offer for the young Wales international, believing him to have a role to play in the final few months of the season.
Harris has three goals in all competitions this season, including an extra-time winner against Preston North End earlier this month.
He faces stiff competition for his spot in the upcoming months, with James Collins, Max Watters, Hugill and Isaak Davies all vying for places in the starting lineup.
Arsenal starlet joins Rotherham
Rotherham United have announced the loan signing of Jordi Osei-Tutu from Arsenal.
The right-back showed real promise when he signed for the Bluebirds last year, but a hamstring injury ruined his season.
The 23-year-old joined Nottingham Forest on loan this season but struggled massively again with injuries this term, with yet more hamstring issues and more recently ankle problems.
He was recalled by Arsenal and has now sealed a loan move to Rotherham in League One.
He is a talented player and will no doubt impress at tha t level, provided he can stay fit enough to get the minutes in the tank.
