Nissan has revealed an all-new electric Juke, taking one of its best-known models into the EV era and giving its European electrification plans – plus Nissan’s Sunderland plant, where the Juke is built – another big boost in the process.
The third-generation Juke was revealed at the company’s Vision event in Japan, and will be the first fully electric version of the compact crossover that helped kick-start the small SUV boom when it first arrived back in 2010. Since then, Nissan says 1.5 million Jukes have found homes across Europe, thanks in no small part to the car’s bold looks and left-field character.
