The Boys spin-off Gen V is cancelled after two seasons as prequel Vought Rising gets release date

Eric Kripke Soldier Boy Thomas Godolkin
Jaz Sinclair as Marie and Erin Moriarty as Annie in Gen V season 2.

Gen V won't be returning for a third season, but prequel Vought Rising is pushing ahead with a 2027 release date.

Per Deadline, The Boys spin-off series centered on young Supes at a Supe-only university has been cancelled after just two seasons. The Boys creator Eric Kripke previously warned that there may not be a third season due to lower viewership in season 2 (though I also think the tragic passing of one of its lead actors may have something to do with it).
