Anyone with a sweet tooth will be in their element when The Botanist's popular hanging kebab makes a welcome return this Shrove Tuesday.
After a two-year hiatus, Newcastle's Monument Mall bar and restaurant will be bringing back its sell-out special ahead of Pancake Day on March 1, offering a tasty twist on its savoury hanging kebab.
The special kebabs will see miniature pancakes hung from skewers and stacked with a choice of three sweet treats.

Diners can opt for chocolate brownie chunks and a hot chocolate sauce or marshmallows and strawberries with a lemon drizzle.
Priced at £6.95, each one is served with a pot of sauce made specially to drizzle down the kebab.
The pancake kebabs will be available from Monday, February 28 until Wednesday, March 2, giving customers three days to satisfy their crepe cravings.
And kebab fans have already been quick to share their excitement on social media after the restaurant announced its pancake day offering via Instagram.
One diner posted, "These look amazing, I'm drooling," while another said, "Oh my God."
