The Boston Celtics secured a win over the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night, maintaining their undefeated status with a 5-0 record this season, with Boston now the sole undefeated team in the league as a result.
Despite some challenges from the Nets through the first three quarters in particular, the Celtics held strong and took care of business in the latter half of the game’s final frame, with key performances from one of their bench players, reserve big man Luke Kornet. Star forward Jayson Tatum delivered an impressive performance as well with 32 points, 11 rebounds, and reaching the 10,000 career points level as the youngest Celtics player to do so.
