The Boston Celtics have started the 2023-24 NBA season with a dominant display of talent, overwhelming their opponents and showcasing their depth. They recently scored 155 points against the Indiana Pacers, the second-highest scoring total in a franchise history going back nearly eight decades.
The Celtics’ starters have been particularly impressive, outscoring opponents by over 37 points per 100 possessions, the best in the league’s Eastern Conference so far this season. The ball club made big moves in the offseason, picking up star big man Kristaps Porzingis from the Washington Wizards and Jrue Holiday from the Milwaukee Bucks by way of the Portland Trail Blazers.
So far, those moves look like strokes of genius for team president Brad Stevens.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst recently joined Malika Andrews on NBA Today to talk about Boston-s white-hot start; check it out above!
