The lead star of The Bodyguard musical said she is "very, very sorry" that the performance in Manchester had to be stopped yesterday night due to some audience members being disruptive.
Melody Thornton, who stars in the show as Rachel Morron, said she "fought really hard" to finish the performance but eventually police had to be called as some people began singing and screaming over the top of the performers.
Security staff were filmed dragging two women away as other audience members clapped. This morning, Greater Manchester Police said they are reviewing "evidence" to decide if any further action is needed.
