In The Blame ending, the killer of 16-year-old figure skater Sophie Madsen has been revealed, while leaving Detective Inspector Emma Crane's fate unresolved. All six episodes have been on ITV's streaming site, ITVX, since 20 September. The ITV1 channel airs the finale on 5 October.

Detective Constable (DC) Lewis Brimah finds a hidden photo in Emma's jacket. Neil Shergill, a serial rapist, took the original picture of a victim. Emma hid the copy because the picture links Neil to an old case where she framed the wrong man. Lewis could report her, but the drama ends before he decides.
