The big-money Rangers flop who could replace Couhaib Driouech at PSV

PSV Eindhoven are lining up a move for ex-Rangers flop Sam Lammers as a replacement for Couhaib Driouech, who passed his medical at Celta Vigo ten days after the Ibrox club pulled the plug on his transfer.

Driouech completed his £6.5 million move to La Liga after Celta Vigo saw no issues with any injuries this week. His move to Rangers collapsed after they cited fitness concerns, which caused PSV to lash out at the decision.

And PSV are set to make Lammers, who now plays for Twente Enschede, Driouech's replacement in a cut-price move.

The 29-year-old netted just twice for Rangers after signing from Atalanta in a £3.5 million deal four years ago and was sent on loan to Utrecht before moving permanently for £2.5 million to Twente.

He only has ten months left of his contract and PSV want to bring him back to his first club.

Driouech has signed a bumper four-year deal with Celta Vigo and could even make his debut tonight against Osasuna.
