Beat Saber is finally available for PSVR 2, ensuring that adopters of the device can now enjoy probably the best VR game out there - plus there's also a brand-new Queen music pack to pick up.
Both the PSVR 2 version of Beat Saber and the Queen music pack shadowdropped alongside the PlayStation Showcase today and, well... It's Beat Saber! The trailer shows off a bit of rhythm action as Freddie Mercury belts out Don't Stop Me Now, and it's wonderful.
In a PlayStation Blog post, the devs confirmed that Beat Saber is a free upgrade on PSVR 2 if you already owned the original PSVR version, and all your music packs will transfer over, too.
The Queen music pack is priced at $13.99 USD, and includes 11 tracks: Another One Bites the Dust, Bohemian Rhapsody, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Don't Stop Me Now, I Want It All, Killer Queen, One Vision, Somebody to Love, Stone Cold Crazy, We Are the Champions, and We Will Rock You. I don't think I could come up with a better set list if I tried.
Beat Saber quickly became the killer app for any VR headset after its launch a few years ago, and it's good to see that our list of the best PSVR 2 games can finally be complete. It's worth investing in at least one VR ecosystem just to play it, and now PSVR 2 can be that choice.
