Making sense of the best Remedy games is well worth the trip. Identifiable for its love of combining animated and live action segments, the studio has long championed the weird and wonderful side of experimentation when it comes to game design.
Whether we're talking time-bending narratives like Quantum Break, gravity-defying shooters like Control, or two of the best survival horror games this side of 1999, Remedy has done it all. Well almost. With Control spin-off FBC Firebreak set to launch as one of our most wanted new games of 2025, the studio's officially branching out into co-op shooter territory. There's also Control 2 in the works, a remake package of Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, and Project Vanguard – a new co-op game made in partnership with Tencent.
