Today is the US presidential election and, boy, the vibes are heavy. Current Vice President Kamala Harris and Former President Donald Trump are going head to head in one of the closest races to the top spot that we’ve seen in decades.
So far, it’s been a nailbiting day as the polls close across the United States and the results slowly trickle in. While there’s a lot on the line for the United States and the world as a whole, there is one silver lining: the memes that have blossomed out of election-related trauma.
Without further ado, here are the memes that made me giggle/snort/breathe air out of my nose heavily at my desk while I’ve been doom-scrolling through US presidential election content.

Earlier this morning, the memes were flowing in like a luscious stream but now that things are getting a bit more intense, I think the potential reality is setting in, making it a tad more difficult to find laughter in amongst the hectic election vibes.
