‘Tis the season to seek out hot deals, and Amazon is getting started early with some sweet Black Friday Xbox deals on consoles and games alike. Whether you’re in the market for a starter bundle with one of 2023’s new releases or want to catch up on the hits of yesteryear with Halo Infinite, you’ll probably find at least one thing you’re looking for. Take a trip through space with Star Wars or Starfield, fight a zombie apocalypse, pull off daring heists, or trek through hell and bring order back to Sanctuary – all at a pretty good discount.

Deep Silver’s Saints Row reboot is practically a brand-new game compared to when it first launched. Some serious updates smoothed out the biggest issues, and it’s actually a fair bit of fun now. If you want to see for yourself, it’s going for $14.99.

Diablo 4 (Digital code) - $39.99
Blizzard is sending you to hell on a discount trip. Diablo 4 launched in summer 2023, and it’s already down to $39.99 – a pretty good deal, considering you get the campaign, revamped post-campaign activities, and the promise of free seasons every few months with new stories and dungeons to tackle. This one is digital, so you can use it for your Series X or Series S.
Assassin's Creed Mirage - $39.99
Ubisoft went back to stealth basics in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and the spinoff-turned-full-game is down to $39.99, just a few months after launching. This one follows Basim of AC Valhalla infamy, but instead of taking place in the Viking world, it puts us in medieval Baghdad at the height of the Caliphate’s splendor. It also swaps the recent RPG approach for a proper stealth experience instead.
Dead Island 2 - $34.99
Maybe you don’t want to think about stealth. Maybe you don’t want to think about anything other than splatting zombies with ridiculous weapons in a horror game about an island that doesn’t take place on an island. If that’s you, grab Dead Island 2 while it’s on sale for $34.99.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor - $34.99
Star Wars Jedi Survivor takes Cal Kestis on a bigger and better complex journey across the galaxy, picking up the pieces of Fallen Order and carrying on his doomed fight against the Galactic Empire. He’s older, sadder, and wiser now, and Respawn leans further into Cal’s relationships with his fellow rebels in a surprisingly thoughtful narrative. You can see for yourself for $34.99.
Anno 1800: Console Edition - $14.99
One of the best grand strategy games is at the lowest price it’s been in ages. Anno 1800 puts you in charge of a 19th-century civilization, as you adjust to new technologies, expand your influence, or, like me, make a series of terrible decisions and fall into irrelevance. Anno 1800 on Xbox is going for $14.99.
Forza Motorsport - $57.99
The latest in Turn 10’s long-running racing game series only just left the starting line, but you can grab it at the slightly discounted price of $57.99 on Series X. This one’s for the serious racers, with more car simulation and less emphasis on spectacular crashes like in Forza Horizon. The digital version isn’t on sale yet, though that might change the closer we get to Black Friday.
