On Sunday night New York City's Lincoln Center was consumed with stars at the top of the celebrity hierarchy to celebrate and recognize achievements on Broadway. The night was about each star's unbelievable performance, but the red carpet still demanded our attention. Gowns crafted by the likes of Oscar de la Renta, Gabriela Hearst and Gucci were seen throughout the evening, but these ensembles wouldn't be truly complete without the perfect glam looks.
There are many beauty moments to marvel over, spanning across minimalist and maximalist territories. Alicia Keys, who delivered a surprise performance of "Empire State of Mind" along with Jay-Z, didn't shy away from her affinity for natural-looking makeup with nothing but subtle eyeliner adorning her gorgeous skin. A flawless accompaniment to her perfectly swooped edges and sleek top knot. Ariana DeBose also took the effortless approach with a low ponytail secured with a bow.
Other stars like Elle Fanning and Sarah Paulson tapped into the ever-reigning bob trend with blond tresses and a classic red lip, channeling Old Hollywood glamour. Meanwhile, Danai Gurira and Jennifer Hudson played up their knotless braids with unconventional buns and dewy makeup. And, of course, Billy Porter rocked glittery silver eyeshadow like only he can.
