Week 15 of the NFL season is here with the San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks kicking things off on Thursday night.
That means it’s time for you to lock in your survivor pool (or knockout pool or whatever you call it) pick for this week and continue on and avoid elimination. So we decided it’s time to give you some help with that by ranking the five best teams to target, while trying to factor in those leagues that require you to only use a squad once per season.
Past picks: Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Week 8 | Week 9 | Week 10 | Week 11 | Week 12 | Week 13 | Week 14
Here’s who you should be considering ahead of Week 15 in descending order:
5
San Francisco 49ers (at Seattle Seahawks)
I actually really like San Francisco’s chances to come out on top in this one. But Geno Smith has made it perfectly clear to never write him off, so the Niners take the fifth spot.
4
Dallas Cowboys (at Jacksonville Jaguars)
The only reason the Cowboys aren’t higher is because of some even more lopsided matchups ahead of them, and it’s worth seeing how they bounce back after a shaky game last week.
3
Philadelphia Eagles (at Chicago Bears)
If the Eagles are still remaining in your pool, they have the second-best matchup of the week and would be a great pick against the Bears.
2
Kansas City Chiefs (at Houston Texans)
This is the tastiest matchup of Week 15, but only if you still have the Chiefs left in your pool. We do not, and I’m guessing not a lot of you do either.
1
Minnesota Vikings (vs. Indianapolis Colts)
This is the part of the season where tough decisions need to be made. So although the Vikings have disappointed lately, they take the top spot due to being the best matchup of teams remaining in our pool. They absolutely should win this game, but we’ll see.
