The Bengals’ radio call of the game-winning FG was too good: ‘BAM! BAM! BAM!’

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals went into Arrowhead Stadium and shocked the NFL world Sunday afternoon by beating the Chiefs in OT, 27-24, on a 31-yard field goal by Evan McPherson and clinching their first trip to the Super Bowl since the 1988 season.

The Bengals didn’t get off to a great start at all, as they fell behind by 18 points in the first half. But then the Bengals’ offense got clicking in the second half and their defense came up huge in the final minute of regulation when they held the Chiefs to a game-tying field goal at the buzzer

That defense then picked off Patrick Mahomes in OT and a few minutes later McPherson won it with this kick.

Here’s the radio call.

The announcers were excited but it also felt like the whole thing was surreal for them and who can blame them considering how much this franchise has struggled over the years.

But now they’re heading to the Super Bowl and life is good.

Twitter had reactions.
