The Batman Part II release date delayed again

  • Warner Bros has delayed The Batman Part II for a second time, pushing its release to 18 February 2028, nearly six years after Robert Pattinson's initial appearance as the Caped Crusader.
  • Director Matt Reeves announced the new date by releasing the first camera test footage, which showed Pattinson in an updated Batsuit with noticeably longer cowl ears.
  • The sequel was originally slated for October 2025, then moved to October 2027 following the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes, before its latest postponement to 2028.
  • Robert Pattinson will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, alongside returning cast members Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell.
  • Marvel stars Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan have joined the cast, with Stan heavily speculated to play the villain Two-Face, and Johansson potentially portraying Gilda Dent.
