An actor in The Batman has looked back at his humble beginnings from when he worked at the Liverpool Empire Theatre.
Con O'Neill, who plays Chief Mackenzie Bock in the new Batman film, took to social media to look back at the start of his career to now starring in a huge blockbuster.
The 55-year-old said when he was 15 years of age he went to see his careers advisor to tell them he wanted to be an actor.

However, Con was told by the woman "you can't."
But the actor did not take no for an answer and so decided to become an usher at the Liverpool Empire Theatre and "studied people" who could act.
Posting a picture on Twitter along with his tweet, Con said: "30 years later outside the same theatre filming The Batman".
He added: "It wasn't always easy but it's worth it."
Con's full tweet said: "When I was 15 I told my careers advisor 'I wanted to be an actor' she replied 'you can't'.
"So I became an usher at the Empire Liverpool and studied people who could. 30 years later outside the same theatre filming 'The Batman'.
"It wasn't always easy but it's worth it."
He finished his tweet with a hashtag which said 'don't give up'.
Con is primarily known for his roles in theatre and in 1988 won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Michael 'Mickey' Johnstone in the musical Blood Brothers.
More recently he played Viktor Bryukhanov, the manager of Chernobyl in the Sky Atlantic series of the same name.
The actor also played Neil Ackroyd in series two of Happy Valley, which follows Sergeant Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) who leads a team of strong-willed police officers in West Yorkshire to solve cases in the area.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and is set to be released in cinemas this Friday.
Robert Pattinson stars in his first outing as The Caped Crusader in a gloomy reboot of the franchise.
Other big names in the cast include Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Colin Farrell starring as The Penguin.
P roduction for the superhero blockbuster came to Merseyside in 2020 as the region was transformed into Gotham City.
