Leeds United star Raphinha has been left out of the travelling squad heading on pre-season tour to Australia, as the winger has been given more time to seal a transfer. The Brazilian has made no secret of his desire to join Barcelona this summer, but the Catalan club have failed to make a suitable bid thus far.
Chelsea have had a bid accepted already but there has been no movement on personal terms, as the winger prefers the move to Spain. However, according to TalkSPORT, as well as Barcelona not yet making the required bid for the player, Leeds are also 'concerned' that the Blaugrana will not be able to pay the money at all, with their financial issues expected to only get worse.
"They're [Barcelona] still yet to match the offer that Chelsea made, several weeks ago now, actually," journalist Alex Crook said. "Chelsea are waiting to agree personal terms with Raphinha but Barcelona are getting closer to that £55million fee."
